My, my, is all I could think when within a week two big Trump supporters unconnected with each other mailed me a piece that apparently is going around in the Ayn Rand circles. It is titled: “FBI Corruption . . . decades in a nutshell.”
You know sometimes I have to sit back to collect my thoughts. The way all these Trump/Ayn Rand followers are acting you would think that Hillary Clinton won the presidency. This new piece going around is related to the “Clinton Foundation.”
I know little about it so I looked it up on this site.
It reported it had a four star rating and a score of 93.91 (the same as the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County. ) It said the rating used “data provided by the charity on a consolidated pro forma 990 which was verified against 990s received from the IRS.” Four Star is the highest rating.
I then looked up the Donald J. Trump foundation. It has a “High Concern” advisory. It states: “The concerns raised about organizational legitimacy and/or federal tax law compliance are serious both in nature and scope and have thus warranted this CN Advisory.
“Oh, well,” I thought, “ the Trump followers of Ms Rand, a Russian atheist, are still concerned about the Clintons as if they were running the country. I might as well see what’s got them so excited.”
The article tells of a 2001 to 2005 investigation into the Clinton Foundation. George Bush was president at the time and John Ashcroft was attorney general. Not the people one would think who’d give the Clintons a pass. But we are not supposed to know that. This article says James Comey took over the investigation in 2002, Lois Lerner from the IRS was involved, Rod Rosenstein ran the Tax Division in the Justice Department, and Robert Mueller was director of the FBI. It says: “They all were briefed and/or were front line investigators into the Clinton Foundation Investigation.” It leaves it there without noting that Comey, Rosenstein, and Mueller had no connection with the Clintons and were Republicans.
Somehow we are supposed to find something sinister in this. I might be dumb but just leaving it there seems absurd. Is there anything even remotely showing that anything was done wrong. It is like noting I was in law school and friends with a couple of guys who ended up in prison. What are you suppose to conclude from that?
The article then jumps to 2009. Comey’s working in the private sector for Lockheed Martin and Hillary is in the State Department. You see the connection there I hope. (I don’t if you want to know). It goes on to note Hillary is running the State department on her private server and the “Uranium One “issue” comes to” her attention. He says, “she decides to support the decision and approve the sale of 20% of US Uranium to no other than, the Russians.” The article notes Mueller was FBI director, Rosenstein handled the case in the Maryland U.S. attorney’s office, and Lois Lerner was still at the IRS.
The truth is it is unclear if Hillary knew of the sale. The secretary of state was one of nine member of the Committee on Foreign Investments. She was represented by a person in her office who said: “Mrs. Clinton never intervened with me on any C.F.I.U.S. matter.” As you know this matter was investigated by two Republican led committees in Congress. As the NY Daily News summed it up: “Is there any evidence that Hillary Clinton ‘gave Russia 20% of American uranium’ to funnel money to her family? NO.”
The article next moves to 2015. It talks about her private email server. We all know that and how it has been beaten into the ground endlessly. Then we’re told that Comey was director of the FBI at the time but before he worked there he secured 17 no bid contracts for his employer (Lockheed Martin) with the State Department”(we know nothing more than that like what the bids were for, how much, etc) Like much of the article it just hangs out there as if something evil was done.
Apparently because of the State Department giving those no bid contract to Lockheed Martin Comey exonerated Clinton in July 2016. Of course no mention is made how he stabbed her in the back in October 2016, 11 days before the presidential election by announcing he had reopened the email investigation into Clinton. That’s one of those inconvenient fact that destroys the whole theory.
The article notes: “Mueller is assigned to the Russian Investigation sham by Rosenstein to provide cover for decades of malfeasance within the FBI and DOJ and the story continues.” Of course the Russian investigation is a sham. We are supposed to forget that all the U.S. intelligence agencies agreed that Russia interfered in the election.
The article near the end states: “All connected in one way or another to the Clinton’s. . . . As of this writing, the Clinton Foundation, in its 20+ years of operation of being the largest International Charity Fraud in the history of mankind, has never been audited by the Internal Revenue Service.” The author apparently does not realize that if everything was in the bag then Lois Lerner’s IRS would have audited the foundation and given it a pass.
It ends with the words, “Let us not forget that Comey’s brother works for DLA Piper, the law firm that does the Clinton Foundation’s taxes.” Which to be consistent we don’t want to forget that two of my law school classmates went to prison.
What’s not mention is that the Justice Department, IRS and Congress are now and have been under the control of Clinton’s enemies. Why if things are so apparently bad and evil isn’t something being done about it. At least, you would think that impeachment proceedings against Hillary would begin.
What. She didn’t win. Then why are all these people with higher education sending around these crazy theories about her? Some things I’ll never be able to figure out. Do they think by pretending she won that we don’t know who really did?
