Happy 4th of July

I wish you all a happy day. I thank you for your participation in this blog. All of you have taught me much more than I ever thought possible. The discussion has been without rancor or hurt with a desire to learn. Participants have included doctors and flappers, teachers and scrappers, persons who won’t lie down or be brainwashed.

Our goal always has been to make the United States a nation where all are treated equally by our government and accorded what is set forth in our Bill of Rights. We seek to remind our government to keep in mind it exists to serve us and not to tell us what to do. If it fails, we may withdraw our consent.

Tomorrow as promised I will talk about Weeks’s upcoming testimony; Saturday is the Whitey Weekend Wrap where I’ll give you my thoughts on the case and the machine gun evidence; and Sunday back to the Naimovich story, the part of that story which I have written I published earlier today.

What are you doing reading this? Get away from the computer. Go out and celebrate the freedom that we still have and be thankful you can do it.

  2. jon i agree, once in a blue moon ill read some comments in the globe and its either spam or ppl who took too many meds before their check arrives! lol but i digress Happy 4th of july, i truly enjoy this blog and get the unbiased truth here, which shows how wrong the lame stream mwdia is when they have an agenda. i cant wait to the bbq starts monday so we get to see the hand writing expertise of kevin weeks, seriously? maybe he could dig a grave or sucker punch a guy but now his word or eyes are credible?

      Weeks was good at both of those things, maybe a little better at sucker punching, he told last trial how some guy said “f.u.” to him and he knocked him down. He wants to be a tough guy but also a guy who is good at grave digging. He has to keep his options open. It will be fascinating seeing the reaction of both former buddies when Weeks starts talking about Deborah Hussey.

  3. Happy Fourth Matt. That such a generation of individuals – Jefferson, Washington, Adams, Hamilton, Franklin, etc – was possible is still a thing at which to marvel.

    Thank you for running this blog. And thanks to the many commenters. Though Matt correctly praises the Internet for its unprecedented contribution to the free exchange of ideas, the Internet has more than its share of yahoos screaming away in the comments sections of news articles, blogs, etc. But not this blog. I don’t think I’ve come across a blog with such a dedicated following of reasonable, well-informed, open-minded readers.

    And if we get staid with cold reasoning, William or Neal always step up with good colorful commentary 🙂
