The FBI at Work: The Muslim Exception: Kill A Husband: Indict the Wife for Lying

BlackbirdMaybe this is called the Muslim exception in the American justice system. To suggest it is outrageous is to grossly understate what is going on with the FBI.

Recall the case of  Ibragim Todashev. He was the Muslim who was a friend of Tamerlan Tsarnaev. He was killed in an Orlando apartment by “an FBI agent named Aaron McFarlane, he was 41 years old, and he had been with the FBI since 2008. Before that, he had been a police officer in Oakland, California. While there, he was accused of falsifying a police report, and the Oakland Police Department was sued twice by former suspects who claimed he had physically assaulted them. The Oakland police settled each of the lawsuits for $32,500, and McFarlane left in 2004, with a lifetime annual pension of $52,000.”

(Sounds like the FBI is desperate in getting agents to hire that guy. I wonder if he is the same agent who killed Usaama Rahim.)

The article above tells how Elena Teyer who came to America from Russia with her daughter Nyusha who got married in July of 2010.  Prior to getting married the daughter changed her name to Reniya Manukyan and converted to Islam. The young man she married was Ibragim Todashev who was the victim of FBI Agent McFarlane on May 22, 2013.

The article tell how Elena and her daughter were being interviewed by FBI agents the day before the interview that led to Todashev’s killing. It tells how she learned of his death and how she went and picked up her daughter and drove to  Orlando to see the body. Later how the FBI kept after her coming to her work and finally notifying the Army for whom she worked that she was under investigation which caused her Army career to come to a screaming halt.

It would turn Elena against America because she saw how she had been in the Army and had a good career and there was no reason for her to be under investigation but the FBI for some reason wanted to make her life miserable. It reminded her of the Russia from which she fled. The article said she believed: “The secret police killed people when they wanted to; a reason could always be found later. The secret police could and would engineer tragedies to their own ends, or to the government’s; someone to blame could always be found later.”

Elena said her daughter left the country in 2013 with Todashev’s body to live back in Russia and does not plan to return to the United States because she fears doing so.

Now the FBI has decided to indict Reniya. She is charged with making a false statement to the FBI back on the day before her husband was killed.

The lie according to the indictment is: “On or about May 21, 2013 . . . falsely stated . . . that a named individual with whom she associated had returned to Atlanta, Georgia, on a bus after his employment in the State of Massachusetts ended on or about August 2011, when in fact and as the defendant well knew, the defendant met that individual in the State of New York on or about September 13, 2011, and drove him to Atlanta, Georgia.”

Aside from there being no place as “the State of Massachusetts”, what happened was Reniya picked Todashev up the day after the Waltham triple murder in New York. He did not come to Atlanta by bus. The wife, who by the way cannot be forced to testify against her husband, tried to cover-up for him.

Pause a second and think of the grossness of this act. Your spouse tells one lie to the FBI to protect you. The day after that the FBI kills you. Almost three and a half years later it indicts your spouse for lying. What is the purpose of inflicting this additional grief on a person whose spouse you already killed?

It knows she is in Russia. It tried to interview her there a year ago according to her mother. Why did it do this? Is it because she is a Muslim? Is it trying to make sure she does not come back to the country? Is it a schemed to defeat her husband’s suit against the FBI? It all seems quite bizarre to me.

  2. Seems strange! The FBI kills her husband, then three-years later seeks to imprison her for a half-truth; She did “pick him up.” He probably did take a bus from Boston to New York. So, he took a bus part way to Atlanta. Yuh, but the FBI says, you said he took a bus all the way to Atlanta. Maybe she didn’t even lie. Maybe the FBI misunderstood.
