Don’t look for any repentance on behalf of Alan Dershowitz’s friend and client billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. He was sentenced to 18 months in a jail, not a prison, for his illegal sexual activity with young women. Here’s what the NY Post reported about him:
“Epstein served 13 months of an 18-month sentence for soliciting a minor for prostitution. In court papers, the victim was identified as a 14-year-old girl. At one point, Epstein was facing 10 years to life on multiple counts of statutory rape, according to investigators. Court documents in that case claimed he routinely sought out girls as young as 14 and paid them $200 to $1,000 for sexual massages in his homes in Palm Beach, Fla., and Manhattan. He also molested girls he had brought in from South America and Europe and once was given three 12-year-old girls from France as a “birthday gift,” the documents alleged. Epstein struck a secret nonprosecution deal with the feds. The government agreed to drop its probe of various sex-crime allegations if Epstein copped to prostitution felonies in Florida state court.”
The article went on to note that a month after a New York judge ruled that he is the most dangerous kind of sex offender: a Level 3, which means, according to the state, Epstein is at “high risk” to repeat his offense and poses “a threat to public safety” he spoke to the newspaper.
He was asked about it. He thought it was all a big joke and made the wisecrack: “I’m not a sexual predator, I’m an ‘offender,’ It’s the difference between a murderer and a person who steals a bagel.”
Epstein who is alleged to have violated the white slave trafficking act by flying girls from state to state for the purpose of sex, is alleged to have had, as stated above, three 12-year-old girls from France as a “birthday gift.” He looks upon all this as much ado about nothing. There’s no way for other than a pig or one of his money recipients to understand his way of thinking.
He does not think of himself as a criminal because there has been no real consequences to his actions. He’s used his money to buy off law enforcement. He went to jail but spent as much as 16 hours a day out of the jail. He had private accommodations in the jail. He was under house arrest after being in jail but allowed to fly from Florida to New York and the Virgin Islands. He scoffs at our laws. He is above them. There are people in prison for long terms after being convicted of only one rape of a child offense; Epstein must wonder what they are doing there since they’ve done nothing more than steal a bagel.
He went on to say: “The crime that was supposedly committed in Florida is not a crime in New York.” To get an idea of the way Epstein operated you can read the affidavit for the search warrant filed on May 1, 2006 here. The affidavit noted that “numerous photographs of naked young females . . . were on display throughout the house.” The investigation began in March 15, 2005, when a 14 year old girl told of her experiences at Epstein’s house.
Epstein figures he can laugh at everyone because of his well placed contacts. Here’s a look at his little black book. Alan’s in it with over a dozen telephone numbers at where he can be reached. A few others are David Koch, the Kennedys: Ted, Jr., Senator Ted, Bobby and Mary (ten telephone numbers) Ethel and Jo, Henry Kissenger, Mike Bloomberg, Doug Bands a Bill Clinton assistant, Peter Soros, Bill Richardson, Gary King and others.
Speaking of the oozing of the sleaze and how it spreads look at Gary King who ran for governor in New Mexico in 2014 from his position as attorney general. He had received over $35,000 for his campaign from Epstein. Here’s what the Santa Fe New Mexican wrote about King and Epstein. “In 2006, following Epstein’s arrest, King gave back $15,000 that an Epstein company called The Zorro Trust had contributed to his campaign for attorney general. In addition, Democratic politicians from Bill Richardson down to the Santa Fe County sheriff returned Epstein campaign contributions. King said at the time, “I don’t think I’ve ever met him personally. He knows other members of my family better.” Epstein had purchased his 10,000-acre Zorro Ranch in Stanley from King’s father, former Gov. Bruce King, in 1993. In 2006, then-Gov. Bill Richardson donated $50,000 in Epstein campaign contributions to charity.”
Fortunately King lost. Epstein, whose been called “the world’s most notorious pedophile” likes to buy up politicians and have professors as friends. Speaking of professors, unlike the politicians who return the dirty money from Epstein, Harvard has announced it will gladly accept it as others will although some won’t.
You understand how guys like Epstein work. They buy up the politicians and other people. Here’s an example: Robert Trivers, a Rutgers University biologist received about $40,000 from him. He said “Epstein is a person of integrity who should be given credit for serving time in prison and for settling civil lawsuits brought by women who said they were abused. ‘Did he get an easy deal? Did he buy himself a light sentence? Well, yes, probably, compared to what you or I would get, but he did get locked up.’ . . . Trivers also said he believes girls mature earlier than in the past. ‘By the time they’re 14 or 15, they’re like grown women were 60 years ago, so I don’t see these acts as so heinous.’
Epstein is well aware money can’t buy him love but it certainly can buy him sex, lies, sycophants and immunity from the laws along with a few laughs from his shady associates.
Why is judge Kenneth Marra taking so long to open those sealed documents on the sweetheart deal that Epstein got from the prosecutors? Can’t wait to see. Ha ha.
Matt keep up the good work , was Allan wearing boxers or tidy whites when he received his massage from the only adult woman in the house ? Wasn’t there a picture of him ,coming out of the water in Nantucket while he was a member of the local Nudist Colony. I remember seeing this picture several years ago in one of the local newspapers. Why is the press giving this guy a free ride ? I think we all know the answer.
