I assume we will learn more about all this since a NY City cop named, ironically, John Connolly, is coming out with a book on it early next year. That will be a must read if the cop is on the level.

When it comes to Dershowitz we know of his friendship with and the scorched earth defense of Jeffrey Epstein. It could be suggested he enabled Epstein to continue his sordid life by using his legal acumen along with other conscience-less lawyers like Kenneth Starr who reportedly said he was “very happy” to defend Epstein. When asked earlier about it Starr refused to answer questions submitted by The Daily Beast.
Starr, the hypocrite who was outraged at Bill Clinton’s abuse of a woman of consenting age Monica Lewinsky, found no difficulty working to crush young abused underage girls for Epstein’s money. When money buys the beliefs and works of the president of Baylor the nation is in danger.
Starr has always been a phony. In a December 3, 2015, speech to Baylor law students Starr said: “The post-Magna Carta period, so to speak, is now 800 years old. Control on arbitrary power. Guaranteeing basic individual rights. Every person, no matter how powerful is under the law. These are the abiding principles of the Magna Carta, which are worthy of celebration.” Such hypocrisy from a man who worked assiduously to deny under age girls their basic individual rights and to empower his client Jeffrey Epstein to skirt the law.
It is reported that “Virginia Roberts Giuffre, has filed two sworn affidavits saying she had sexual intercourse with Dershowitz at least six times between ages 16 and 19. One of those times was in Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion, the affidavits say. Giuffre alleges Epstein trafficked her as a sex slave to his powerful friends from the time she was 15.”
Dershowitz denies this, Some have questioned his denial. We have seen he distorts the truth to his own benefit. He’ll do this even to greatly embarrass a fellow lawyer who made the mistake of discussing the case with him. I don’t know who would trust this guy.
In a recent filing on December 15, 2015, he said he wanted to be able to tell the world what his conversations were between Attorney David Boies, counsel for the women who said he sexually abused her when she was under the age of consent, Virginia Roberts, and himself. Dershwitz has said that Lawyer Boies told him that he did not believe Virginia’s statement against Dershowitz were factually true.
That makes Boies looks like a sleaze bag. He is undermining his client. Is it likely that he would do that?
Boies when confronted denied making such a comment. “I never said to him that I concluded that my clients’ assertions were incorrect. I didn’t say that. I didn’t say anything like that.”
Dershowitz fired back at Boies perhaps thinking he can bully him. Seeking to rub mud into his face he said:“I doubt that my friend David Boies will be willing to state under oath that he did not make the statements that I quote in my affidavit, . . . It’s one thing to deny making them to the media. It’s quite another thing to deny them under pains and penalties of perjury.”
Wow! This should be interesting. Dershowitz calling “his friend” a liar and going to try to force him to back down by having him put under oath. Boies is supposed to be a top lawyer. Dershowitz is really playing a game here.
Boies is a formidable opponent. Dershowitz wants to get him out of the case so that Virginia Roberts, the women he is accused of sexually abusing, is unable to be properly represented. He knows if Boies stays on he will not be able to bully the young woman.
We will be watching to see if Boies has the courage to stand up to Dershowitz.
Meanwhile the suits relating to the sexual matters move on. We do not know if Dershowitz is the one who Jane Doe # 1 said: “harassed, possibly shadowed and ultimately “bullied”” her. Her story here about what happened when she was a 14-year-old girl telling of the creepiness of the people involved here is well worth reading.
It will be a happy 2016 as we watch the story unfold.

It does not appear a resolution is near, however. Local KOIN reported Wednesday that so-called militia members were coming to the occupation from other parts of the country and they believe they’re on a mission from God.
“God wants us here, there’s a sense that’s beckoning and it comes from heaven,” militiaman Kelly Gneiting said. “We’re doing what’s right, we’re doing what the founding fathers would do because we’re inspired by God, also.”

WASHINGTON — For nearly two weeks last year, the FBI operated what it described as one of the Internet’s largest child pornography websites, allowing users to download thousands of illicit images and videos from a government site in the Washington suburbs.
The operation — whose details remain largely secret — was at least the third time in recent years that FBI agents took control of a child pornography site but left it online in an attempt to catch users who officials said would otherwise remain hidden behind an encrypted and anonymous computer network. In each case, the FBI infected the sites with software that punctured that security, allowing agents to identify hundreds of users.
The Justice Department acknowledged in court filings that the FBI operated the site, known as Playpen, from Feb. 20 to March 4, 2015. At the time, the site had more than 215,000 registered users and included links to more than 23,000 sexually explicit images and videos of children, including more than 9,000 files that users could download directly from the FBI. Some of the images described in court filings involved children barely old enough for kindergarten.
That approach is a significant departure from the government’s past tactics for battling online child porn, in which agents were instructed that they should not allow images of children being sexually assaulted to become public. The Justice Department has said that children depicted in such images are harmed each time they are viewed, and once those images leave the government’s control, agents have no way to prevent them from being copied and re-copied to other parts of the internet

Matt, Former NYC Detective Connolly will team up with the renown author James Patterson to publish the book on Epstein. From what I’ve read, the book, to be released this year, before the election, clears Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew of any wrongdoing. The political angle: President Obama appointed Patterson the Administration’s “Book Czar.” This book could be a political white wash. Remember, the woman who accuses Dershowitz also accused the Prince. If the book clears the Prince, . . . you get the drift.
Starr is wrong about the Magna Carta. That document ensured the rights of the nobility, not the commoners, who were left to the mercy of their betters, and, whose only defense against the great nobles was the King. King John Langley (Plantagenet) was an excellent civil administrator who, during his term as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, defended the rights of commoners in the Pale. The King’s Law kept the otherwise uncontrollably rapacious Norman marcher barons in line.
The Magna Carta is greatly misunderstood by those who haven’t studied it. I suspect Starr only read the Cliff notes.
